8 freely assignable CV inputs route to any of 24 parameters across all three FX slots simultaneously. Route one CV to multiple destinations, or dedicate CV8 to switch presets live from voltage alone.
Sync time-based effects and add rhythmic sidechain-style dynamics that breathe with your patch.
Dedicate CV8 to preset control and sweep through your entire saved library with a 0-5V signal. Flip entire FX chains mid-performance without touching the module.
Hold Shift + Settings and turn any knob to instantly assign a CV source, offset, and attenuversion to that parameter - without leaving your current screen.

First few hours with Esu and I'm absolutely blown away. I've owned and tried plenty of traditional and modern FX — even built my own patching on the ER-301 — and currently own a Disting NT. Gotta say this is brilliant, tasteful, UI is well thought out and intuitive. The FX algos are unique. I haven't even touched modulation and can really see the potential.
CERN is just out of this universe. I love how Trifecta is easy to handle — no exotic parameters, everything is at a finger move. I've made a "guitar rig" with Esu, it sounds crazy on guitars. It's a very strong module every Eurorack enthusiast needs to have.
I'm into CERN since a few hours and honestly it is really splendid — you could get lost in soundscapes for hours, meditating. Some ambient-oriented producers won't believe their ears.
Esu's Trifecta has been perfect for this use case. Always found Elektron's effects a little lacking in variety — Trifecta solved that completely. The UI / workflow / QoL on this thing is great. I am only scratching the surface of what's possible.
